Greg began selling real estate after shifting to the Wairarapa to fulfil a long held ambition to build his own home.
Originally from a rural background and attracted by the Wairarapa lifestyle, Greg and his family purchased a small block of bare land in Greytown while living and working in Wellington. Several years on they moved ‘over the hill’ where they became barn dwellers while Greg designed and managed the build of their new home.
Keen to work as well as live in the Wairarapa, Greg began selling residential real estate here. When an opportunity arose to sell commercial property also, Greg grabbed it and, on discovering a real affinity with this new area of work, decided to involve himself in commercial real estate full-time – although he continues to maintain a keen interest in what’s happening in the residential market as well.
Prior to working in real estate, Greg’s career was principally focused on workforce development which saw him actively involved in the design and implementation of macro recruitment strategies, supporting existing as well as setting up new specialist education ventures and purchasing targeted training programmes. From this background he brings well developed brokering and contract management skills including good communication and negotiation skills, an eye for detail and the ability to build, maintain and manage critical relationships. Greg is committed to using these skills along with his knowledge of the local market and the commercial knowledge and expertise he has acquired in practice to achieve the best outcomes possible for everyone he works with.
Being results driven, committed to doing the hard yards and benefitting from being part of a national team of commercial agents, Greg aims to deliver the best that the market has to offer.
Greg is active in all areas of commercial real estate including property sales and purchases, business sales and commercial leasing
